The problem is, Dan Gilbert like Mark Cuban before him, finally won his title. Now, everything after that is gravy... so don't expect him to just pay those punitive luxury taxes just because he can (I believe the repeater tax is 1.75 for every dollar over, so if you're 20 over, you pay an additional 35 on top of it). Depending on who they get, they could end up being 40 over. Unfortunately, that is what David Griffin is dealing with. Trying to figure out who can he move that won't mess up their balance sheets and not add to the cap.
Lebron had a point about Raymond Felton, but then again, why is James Jones' still on the roster and not an assistant coach? He doesn't even play anymore and he's just taking up a roster spot to be a mentor. You don't need Richard Jefferson and James Jones for that.
