That says more about the league today then their rightful place in the league. How can you be a superstar and you never made the playoffs (love, kyrie) prior to playing with lebron? A superstar get's his team to the playoffs.
The team is supposed to be built around him. What does that have to do with Kyrie and Love not being able to lead a quality squad in his absence? What does that have to do with Lebron being forced o lead the league in mins? He's saying that they need another piece because they need it. He's doing his part.

He's not necessarily wrong, or right. It's just that Cleveland financially done all they could to appease LeBron. And to add, LBJ's comments weren't as specific as you made them. Had he simply said "We may need a backup PG, and a veteran big to help us overcome the ebs and flows of this season and to help give us the best shot a title defense" than that would've been received better. He made it seem like they were surrounded by scrubs outside himself and Kyrie. Kloves been killing it. This isn't those bum 00's Cavs teams he used to carry. He has more parts than most teams.
And like Kenny alluded to, yeah Golden state is stacked, but you can't use what Golden state did as a berometer for what Cleveland SHOULD do. KD did something unprecedented. As Cleveland/LBJ, you can't expect to land the type of player that GS acquired. You gotta make do with all the talent you DO have, and so far, Cleveland has done all they can to make sure that they maxed themselves out with talent.
At the end of the day, LBJ IS the playmaker/point-forward. He loves to play with the ball in his hands, and the only players he defers to are Klove and kyrie. So even adding a third playmaker, would LBJ be willing to defer and let this hypothetical third takeover when need be? They don't share the rock quite like Golden State does. It may be a coaching problem, rather than a talent problem. They already have playmakers and guys who could knock down an open 3.

But what can Cleveland do about that? They've done everything LeBron asked thus far. It's been nothing but sour grapes since summer of last year, by Cavs fans when KD chose GS. Cavs fans nott realizing or remembering that Cleveland maxed out when LBJ decided that they should pay TT, JR, Shump all that money. Get Frye, now Korver, they gonna rescue Wade from Chicago next? I wouldn't be mad at them if they did. But LBJ can't act like Cleveland hasn't been trying?

What KD did was worse, but let's not be revisionist historians and act like lebron wasnt probably the first to suffer heavy criticism for running to play with two other stars in his prime and even Mj high key threw a shot at him saying he(mj) would never play with magic or bird. That move to Miami was viewed worst than any other super star teaming and he suffered criticism for it. That's what nikkas is saying. It took lebron to knock down that door, with out him, KD takes much more criticism for this move.
Nobody hated the celtics like they did lebron for trades, nobody hated the lakers with Malone and Payton like did lebron for being old nikkas chasing rings. Nikkas legit watched the Heat to see them fall. That move to Miami set the tone for KD to go their regardless of the circumstances.
