So to sum it up
1. Vince needs to retire
2. Get rid of WWE Films
3. Former wrestlers need to be bookers again

Stephanie freaked because she knows Shane is better at business than she is. Shane has always had a great relationship with the wrestlers, while Stephanie comes off as a know it all who thinks she's still in the 00s. My biggest :russ: is the WM attendance number, because after all that research they still don't know the official number. That 74k-86k is a terrible guesstimate and sounds like they're just listening to whoever gives them a number, i still believe it was in the mid 90k.

I think they're fukking up but I don't think any of this is the answer. They aren't running a wrestling company anymore. It's a TV/live events/merchandise/streaming company and wrestling just happens to be the subject of the show/events. They are in a bad place because they are too big to think about who has a better relationship with the wrestlers but they have a TV show nobody wants to watch

Shocking. A senile drug abuser with absolute power is running a company into the ground :diddyohhh:

I've been trying to tell this to the people who were seemingly shocked as hell at how big Roman is (especially outside of the US). The casuals don't give a shyt about him not paying his dues in the indies or whatever, they just see the man who main evented two Wrestlemania's back to back.

Explain? :jbhmm:

There was some kinda research article or poll a while back that pretty much put Roman on top as one of the biggest and most recognizable wrestlers in the world today and folks here wondered how that was possible.

Fair enough. I suppose receiving one of the biggest pushes in wrestling history, given title reigns for fun, back-to-back Mania main events, records broken left and right and booked as Lesnar 2.0....... is gonna make you pretty recognizable :yeshrug:

:mjlol: Paying your dues in a tag team for 3 years and another 3 in FCW is now considered a big push.

He was in the Shield for 18 months :mjlol: And yes, they were one of the most dominant, strongly booked tag teams in WWE history, beating up Undertaker and Rock ffs :francis: Even as the Shield you knew they planned for Reigns for to be the face of the company, all this talk of Vince not planning ahead is BS when you look at Roman :yeshrug:

The product sucks, as diehards we all know that. It's repetitive, oversaturated, uninspired etc. Maybe the best way to appeal to "casuals" would be to make more consistently fun tv.

And Trips and Steph aren't really to blame for the decline. They're just a symbol of heredetic entitlement. What's really to blame is Vince's thirst for mainstream acceptance and the company going public. Having to answer to greedy, pushy stockholders and the market was the start of the decline of the product and Vince aging didn't help either

Shield debuted in 2012 and split in 2014 :francis:
