Crazy cause the coli got @clanarchy that will bring back that wu tang soundsi didnt wait thru 7 years of the Czarface shyt for this
the beats arent bad...but they the kinda beats you say this is iight and rarely go back to them
having the Hellfire guy and Streetlife on the same song is weird, he sounds just like Street lol
around 8 Diagrams/Resident Patient he became really punchline heavy, i guess to fill up verses but hes not that good at it. often kinda corny, not everything is going to be poisonous paragraphs but damn sometimes its like listening to Fab or one of the early 00s mixtape guys with all the punches
Prolly ain't got the funds for it. Producers like alchemist, roc, madlib charge a hefty fee. A lot of these old school acts are back to livin that 9 to 5 life. Paying thousands for a beat ain't in the cards. They'd rather get some no name dude to do it for free. Most of these up and coming beat makers are just happy to be working with a legit name.haven't checked it out yet, but why cant these dope mcs just holla at alchemist/roc marciano for example? baffles me every time.

Anybody can afford a beat if they save up for a while. But at this point they ain't trying to do all that. These guys are just regular Joe's like the rest of us now. How you gonna tell your wife you just spent 10k on a beat when that shyt coulda went to your kids?....it's not even necessarily about affording it, it's just about being responsible. Underground rappers are willing to save up and spend on an alchemist beat because that's an investment that can pay off in the long run. Inspectah deck is not gonna recoup much off his music anymore. He's just doing it for the love at this point.I ain't buying it. Dudes like Alchemist and Roc have production credits on alot of underground rappers shyt throughout the years. I find it hard to believe Inspectah Deck can't afford a beat or two from them. Not buying that shyt AT ALL.

You don't even know how much they charged for those beats though. For all you know they gave away those beats for free. That's a whole different scenario. Producers will work with a lot of up and coming artists for cheap if they see potential in em. Same shyt madlib did with Gibbs. He prolly didnt even charge Gibbs much since he's the one who asked Gibbs to collaborate. He knew the shyt would pay off and he was right. But U God can't roll up on madlib askin for the same price Gibbs got. That's disrespectful. I remember madlib saying he turned down a meeting with kanye cause he wouldn't pay his booking fee. These producers are about making money at the and of the day. If they CHOOSE to give you beats for cheap, that's on them. But if not, you gonna have to pay full price. You can't ask for the family discount if you ain't family. Legend or not.Naw, still not buying it. There's underground artists that have full projects FILLED with Alchemist beats and you trying to sell that Deck can't even get one because he's being "responsible"? Lol. Nah.
