Wu Tang Forever really has no connection to Wu; it's just Drake's way of dikkriding (just like Girls Love Beyonce) another brand to get himself more listens.

The POINT of the matter is the song has absolutely no business being called "Wu-Tang Forever". It has literally NOTHING to do with the Wu save for a sample. It's not an homage track, it features no Wu members, it's a standard Drake lullaby track that should've either sank or swam on its own in accordance with the album...

I mean maybe he shoulda jus called it Its Yours, its kinda a homage tho, from the "its yourz" sample to borrowing the opening lines from Rae. I think it was a kool n respectful look but with the type of album Wu-tang Forever was and their whole mentality during that shyt, it probably was a bad idea to come on some RnB shyt on that record.
