But if he aint using it to try to monetize his work then whats it matter?
If he is trying to monetize he should be doing all that anyway, cause you can't sell yourself without a commercial or billboard.
And if he aint trying to monetize it then it doesn't matter anyway cause his followers that like his stuff and are usual visitors to his page will continue to see it.

But the algorithm will keep people from seeing you stuff. On a a personal note. I’m a photographer. My shyt went from getting 300 likes with comments to 20 I don’t give a fukk, cuz it is what it is and 300 wasn’t really a lot to begin with. I’m not spending my time making reels and other miscellaneous shyt cuz I don’t like video and I got other shyt to do. Most of my brehs who got big off IG doing photo barely post now. Luckily some of us still getting paid to shoot shyt.

But that's not the case. Unless you're talking about hardcore followers who have alerts set up. I got around 3k followers and I'd bet only 5 have alerts for when I post. The majority of my audience depends on the algorithm to show my content and IG gears that to people who do Reels and all that extra shyt.

And I'm not even trying to actively monetize my content. But I would like the maximum amount of people to see my work without all the extra hoops to jump thru.
