This a little different though.

Social media has ruined peoples careers and on the flip side made a lot of society lazier.

I know strippers who were just that, strippers. Now they "IG famous "cause they showed they ass early on IG and never have to work again in they life cause they inbox filled with simps.

Its so easy for people to send a message. Its harder for people to approach people in person. But social media eliminates that by sending messages.

I think something like youtube was in the right direction. But instagram/snapchat/facebook is holding society back. Not because of the technology itself but because of how people abuse it. Not all "advancements" are good.
