I guess being a single mother of two kids is pretty overwhelming. I know from couples that they can barely handle two kids, for a single mother it must be even worse. It happens more often than one would think that mothers just up and leave and lock the children out of their mind when they can't deal with the situation any more. It's kind of like people not opening the mail when they know it contains bills they can't pay.
