I think the movie division either shut down or is on hiatus because they've only been working on TV (A&E shows). I think the last movie they put out was the Paige one.

Either way, all of their movies sucked

Burying WCW and ECW with the Invasion angle in 2001.. Making the talent 3 fiddle to a already tired Mchmahon family storyline and also being too cheap in bringing in the heavy talent(NWO, Sting, Goldberg, Flair etc)

I agree the invasion angle sucked but they didnt really burn money on acquiring WCW and ECW if you consider the intellectual property and tape libraries. I think they paid a couple million for both promotions which is virtually nothing, they've probably sold enough classic figures and DVDs over the years to cover those investments a few times over, don't forget how hot the One Night Stand ppv was, things like that. not to mention they wiped out their 2 biggest competitors and any chance of them re-emerging.

for all the money the E has burned over the years, buying WCW and ECW for the price they paid is probably among their smartest investments.

Since 1996, the ONLY time Vince got close to the NWO energy was with the Nexus. With 8 brand new characters and NXT season 2 already being named (reinforcements?) the options were endless. They picked the worst one.

Cena was too big of a star himself to gain anything from wrestling Rock again in 2013. Ryback should have stayed undefeated and went over Dwayne, or Punk should have kept the title reign going and beat him. It did nothing for Cena.

Vince basically allowed the Klique to become a thing....which led to Hall and Nash leaving and going to WCW....forming the NWO as we know it...which realistically is the spiritual ancestor to The Bullet Club (aka the last good stable in wrestling over the past decade) which then led to The Elite...which is now running AEW...his biggest competition.

Vince's own worst enemy is VINCE
