Not the same. We're not trying to find ways to build a Dyson sphere, we're trying to find already existing Dyson spheres based on a fiction book someone read. And all the theories emitted about them are based on how we imagine it would work.

That's like me writing a story about a people able to turn air into gold, imagining how it would work, then touring the earth hoping to find air transforming gold machines laying around. That just doesn't make sense to me.

Doesnt have to be a Dyson sphere....we use our assumption in 2019 if what something would look like to gather energy from the sun.

It can be some structure or satellite that is not moving naturally
