I seen them being worn for the first time this year by some nikka on my college campus, but then again if I remember correctly he was also still rocking braids
I really blame it on the promo though, because unless youre a hardcore 50 Cent fan and you follow his moves you more than likely don't know what sms audio is outside of a hashtag. Never made 1 commercial, no endorsement deals with athletes(Melo is an actual owner), only videos they appear in are 50 Cent videos nobody outside of his fanbase watches.. its like how do u expect to gain exposure?

Market strategy is slow growth they haven't attempted to go into retail in the US except for Finshline the first year, Nordstrom, airports, & College campuses now.
The only thing forbes knows is their marketshare in the US kid, and those numbers come from NPD. SMS Audio is in over 59 countries, even if he only sold 1000 headphones per country, per year at an average price of 200 dollars thats 11,800,000 in revenue (before taxes) for headphones that cost $10 dollars to make in China.
