Brazil census shows African-Brazilians in the majority for the first time

For the first time since records began black and mixed race people form the majority of Brazil's population, the country's latest census has confirmed.

Blacks only make up 7.6% of the population and their numbers are only 14 million.

I believe that. I don't have statistics on my side but I was watching an old Stokley Carmichael interview from The Black Power Mixtape and he made reference to there being 50 million black people and that was in the early 70's. I could see almost being 10 million off if he was rounding but he would be close to 30 and it would be higher than our population now.

We were only counted at 3/5 human back then so our numbers were way higher than the graph shows. Its also interesting that the importation of slaves was outlawed in 1808 but look how much higher the slave population got by 1865

If White America knew that our birth rate has remained steady to a point where our numbers are actually in the 70 - 80 million range, even in spite of the obvious obfuscation regarding our numbers via the Census (which most of us don't participate in anyway), the killing of our people by police brutality (and even by our hands), racial eugenics, etc... There would be absolute panic, especially since their birth rates are declining and have been so for awhile.

That doesn't make sense.....Why would they wait until after they banned the import of slaves in 1808 and the first African slaves came here in the 1600s. They let all these black folks run free for two centuries then decide to enslave them
