The military got me in treatment, to where I don’t work all day and I go to group therapy. Ain’t shyt wrong with me but it gets me out of work
It’s me, another patient and the therapist. Somehow religion came up, and they promptly started back on the bullshyt
Basically going on & on about how our “Good Christian country” was compelled by god to go in the Middle East and fck them people up, bc of how they treat their women. And to convert them. But they don’t want to talk about how cacs in America oppressed ADOS for over 400 years in the name of the Bible.
The other girl patient goes “Yea Islam is inherently evil
i thought this was a known fact. Can’t trust em over there.” In my head I’m like so all the black Muslims over the course of history, Malcolm X, and the Moors who brought the cave dwelling cacs out of the dark ages were inherently evil? I’ve heard this narrative before
Islam is similar to Christianity but we all know which one the white man chooses to indulge In.
Crazy shyt is I try and take my mind off it on the day to day, but they keep showing their hand. I guess they felt comfortable bc it was such a small class today. But even crazier, is, they really think they’re right and everyone else is wrong
