Well, right now you live in a “market democracy” in which the billionaire class can buy elections via advertisements, voter outreach, fund political campaigns data collection etc. Essentially pitting the working class against a small elite that controls most of the wealth in your country. The billionaires class, their lobby groups and corporate stooges who they elect to Congress get to control the agenda to your detriment.

Public healthcare, paid maternity leave, public pharmacare, mass public transit - all are things that would improve your quality of life are against their interest!

Billionaire are not just “citizens”. Since your Republican-dominated Supreme Court approved Citizens United, American democracy is an auction to the highest bidder.
