Internal Webcam keeps getting disabled during zoom?

Happened twice . System doesn't recognize the camera.

Updated the anti-virus and restarted computer and that has fixed the issue both times.

Is there some kind of security patch or update that I need?

It's for a laptop that I only use 3 times a week.

What brand laptop is it? Are you using a Zoom client or a web-based plugin? Does the webcam have issues with any other application?
Sounds like a bug. Check your event viewer and see if you can find any system logs concerning the webcam. Filter by error and critical..
