Quebec separatists during the 1995 Quebec referedum on sovereignty. The No side won the vote 50.58% to 49.42% to keep the province in Canada. There was alot of tension between French and English speakers during those days. The 1960's even had domestic terrorist incidents by the Pro-Quebec independence Front de liberation du Quebec.
