I think this forum has been posted before. It dates all the way back to the 90s and you can see what people thought about historic events in real time. nikkas really hated 2pac, who woulda thought. Just look at this shyt, on the day he died! :picard:

So only God can judge him? I'll take a stab, er shot, um, an attempt at judging him:
Here was a man who blamed his troubles with the law on his upbringing, a system that is unjust, and perhaps some women with ulterior motives. In
reality, he wavered back and forth on whether he was doing the right thing, at least as far as the message his music is sending to people.
"Let somebody else represent it, because I'm tired of it," he once told an interviewer. He also said: "If ... rap is an art form, then we got to be more responsible for our lyrics. If you see everybody dying because of what you saying, it doesn't matter that you didn't make them
die, it just matters that you didn't save them."
Obviously, this was not a man who was prepared to live up to the ideas he esposed -- unless of course they were marketable images he could use
in the marketplace to sell records, and gain fame and fortune. He succeeded, but at a terribly high cost.
I wn't spend a moment feeling sorry for Tupac. He was a shameless huckster. First he sold his soul, then he sold his people down the river. He lived the Thug Life to the fullest, and all for the love of
cold, hard cash. You know why he beat up filmmaker Hughes? He was cut from the cast of Menace II Society. fukk Tupac. He was a punk, and we are no better for having known him.
Last summer in Washington DC, a young black man with the rest of his life ahead of him was gunned down in the street. He was an honor student who was poised to do great things and make a success of himself. His
death was a _real_ tragedy, since it was so pointless.
Tupac's death may have some value as an object lesson of how NOT to live. But I doubt the lesson will be heeded, lost in the glitter of fame. How could anyone who seriously cared about his community promote
a lifestyle such as Tupac's? The answer is simple: he *didn't* care.
Go ahead and cry for this devil. Go ahead and accuse me of not being down, or real. I don't give a shyt -- I know who I am. I will be a success in my life, but not by demeaning black women, or extoling the virtues of getting over. Most importantly, I expect to live much longer than Shakur, and do less damage along the way.
Good riddance.
