Only thing I’ll say about Jimmy is ….. he had the power and influence at the time since he was basically suges boss if you think about it …. To tell him and pac to tone it down with the bullshyt east vs west shyt but because he was making that much money off the drama / controversy bullshyt he didn’t care n let it ride out … he only started waving the white flag and backed away from suge when shyt turned to real violence and lives started been lost then cut ties with suge n them … that to me is some scumbag shyt when he could and should have stepped in way before that and used his power and influence to stop it getting to where it did … all he was interested in was money money money …

When you look at the time Iovine was in power at Interscope you have to look at what kind of music they were pushing. A lot of the violent music that was bad for the youth was being pushed at the front when he was the CEO. from after Pac dropped Me Against The World which pushed the East Vs West beef, to Dre with the Chronic, then Em with the pill popping music then more of the gangsta stuff when 50 got signed. I guess Benzino was right. That's why they tried to shut everyone up so the bread winners could continue to cake up for the record label. He called out Iovine for pushing that stuff.
