I never understood why people think this movie is sad. I have kids and I understand Nolan went for the heart strings but I think Nolan is not actually very good at it. This movie made my head hurt more than my heart.

I have no children, not really an emotional person, and I especially don’t really cry duing movies. But something about him watching Murph through the bookshelf pulls at my heart-strings.
