It's surprising considering how shytty devanted treated him, missy, timbo and the rest of the Bassment squad. On the strength of missy and timbo alone DeVante shoulda looked like a damn genius and rode that wave. And I don't care what Timbo says, he KNOWS that he ghost produced 2Pac's No More Pain with some of DeVante's keys sprinkled over it

WTF are you talking about? Tim did not produce no more pain. You don't even know the full story to assume devante was abusive and if he was.....smh...then shame on him

And in VERY knowledgable about DeVante's production and there's no fukkin way Tim didn't have a hand in that track. He might not have been with Pac in the damn studio but it's not hard to believe DeVante took the track and flavored it up for No Mote Pain

And missy, timbo and Elgin all let it be known in the past how bad things were with DeVante, even down to their living conditions. So while it might have been a good gesture for him to give them a place to live, he wanted them to be on some crew shyt and follow his orders. it's not like Tim, missy or Elgin shytted on him so badly in the press but at the same time, they got treated wack (along with the rest of the crew)

At the end of the day, DeVante wanted to be on his Prince shyt and have a Revolution of his own and came up well short. I give him (and Dalvin) the props they deserve from the Jodeci era but don't make it seem like he didn't drop the ball with the Bassment crew. Them dipping on him was the smartest thing they ever did.
