I never heard of this show until the IF thread, after all the hoopla of how good it was I tried watching it last night on prime and I couldn't get past the first 20 mins. Does it get better or is this just overhyped fluff

yes the shyt acting doesn't help which is why they should add some zingers to the dialogue so it's not so glaring. It also looks cheap like it's set in the same world as xena and hercules was not expecting that. Martial arts can only entertain so much before it becomes redundant

can we just enjoy it for what it is... not many martial arts themed fighting shows on tv as is.... and not everyone is a bad actor Quinn is the standout...

This is like mad Max tho. But you notice that water is around food too & gas but the emphasis is on armed combat and guns are banned... why can't you turn your brain off and stop over thinking it.
