Back in the 1950s when Roberto Clemente was traveling in the Minor Leagues in America...he had this sort of realization because in PR he was always just a Puerto Rican. But in America...especially in the deep south when he was busing with his teammates...he was just another n***a who could have easily been lynched for going to the wrong restaurant. The treatment he received was jarring to him. I suggest some of you read up and learn something.
The real problem with this thread is the term black excellence. On this particular site we use that mostly as black pride with black culture. How many people use black excellence and Charles Barkley in the same sentence? Black excellence and SAS in the same sentence. On this particular site the two ALWAYS go hand in hand. Its just more than skin color. For that reason lindor will NEVER be black excellence. That's not a bad thing.
