Miller, Jensen can certainly be argued. Miller been the best reliever in the playoffs

1) Chapman has a 2.08 ERA in the playoffs, Jansen (I think that's who you meant right?) had 3.04 or something like that.

2) Miller has been behind a better starting pitching staff and a better offense. Cubs haven't scored sh*t in this offseason for the most part, it's their defense that's carried them

It's like comparing Kobe to Duncan, or Messi to Drogba. It's easy to look good when your team is so dominant. It's easy to forget Lester almost gave the game away, which save (pun intended :jawalrus:) for Aroldis this whole thread would have been a moot point. The man comes in and shut sh*ts down, and performs in the clutch. Miller hasn't been under the same pressure Aroldis has this series.

Miller basically only pitches in high leverage situations. The rest of what you said I don't even know what you're talking about. Miller has quite easily been the best reliever thoughout the playoffs. Chapman was great last night tho and is awesome too :yeshrug:

Name a better one in this year's playoffs breh :stopitslime:

So you can claim that he's better cause his team is in the WS?

Chapman only has 36 saves this year, isn't in the top 10 in saves.... and outside of being in the WS, the only noise he made was for the Dodgers backing out of a trade for him for beating his wife.

Miller has better stats, I'm not arguing that. But Miller is behind dominant pitching and a great offense. He's not facing the same situations like Aroldis has been in with tight games and elimination games, that's all I am saying. It doesn't help that the Cubs haven't been hitting sh*t either in this world series.

Who would you have taken over him last night in an elimination game for the Cubs? Melo is statistically more clutch than Kobe, but no way in hell is any coach gonna pick Melo over Kobe for that last shot.

The hitting and SP are completely independent of what they're doing tho. And the Cubs have better SP than any other team anyways. If you want to take any outside factors that benefit these guys it's defense, and Chapman easily has the best defense behind him

and Miller hasn't been facing the same situations?! Have you been watching him these playoffs?? It's been stressful situation after stressful situation breh. Hes been unreal, although I think the Cubs are starting to figure him out a bit

Miller is having a legendary playoff run, before last night Chapman wasn't even close

Cleveland won the ALDS 3-0
Cleveland won the ALCS 4-1

Cubs won the NLDS 3-1
Cus won the NLCS 4-2

Cubs opponents have had a battering average, slugging average, and on base percentage. Their games have simply been much closer. And if anybody has been legendary for the Indians it's been Kluber, when he's in it's almost over by the 5th inning :bryan:

Jansen.

You do remember that of the 20 batters he faced in the NLCS, he only gave up 1 hit.

Melo can't be statistically more clutch than Kobe, cause Melo has never been in a situation where something was truly on the line.

In Game 2 of the NLCS Jansen had only 4 strikeouts

In Game 3 of the NLCS they were up for 4-0

in Game 5 of the NLCS they were down 5-0

At no time and point in the NLCS was the game riding on him, that's why I used the Melo vs Kobe example. The Cubs ALMOST LOST the World Series the other day breh save for Chapman we wouldn't be having this conversation, that's why I would take him over any other closer right now.

You're trying to pass off black excellence to a nikka that doesn't identify himself as black idiot:stopitslime: There's plenty of black athletes to give that title to and your uncle tom c00n ass is giving that label to a man who will never say he's black smh
Breh, FYI not all Hispanics have that "me no black papi" mentality.

Anyway if you guys wanna talk about blackleticism at the closer position you can't forget the OG GOAT Mariano Rivera :wow:
