this wack ass update.

all my audiobooks which used to be under the music app are now under the ibooks app.

that would be fine, but it has renamed all my audio books as "track 1, track 2" etc

I HATE it when they ruin the functionality of something that was previously working.

this same kinda thing happened when the podcast app first dropped and they removed that functionality from the music app.

It wouldn't be a free trial if they charged you to sign up would it? The $10 isn't charged until the end of the 3 months if you don't opt out

It's good. I prefer the dark theme of Spotify though.

But I might end up sticking with this. I love the fact that there's a scrubbing bar on the control center for songs. No more holding the fast forward/rewind buttons.

Now I gotta transfer all my songs from Spotify to this.

It's actually a pretty small update (under 400 mbs) so it won't take that long over wifi. The install time's probably be longer than the download time.

Only been playing around with it a little bit but the pay portion is just a reskinned Beats Music right down to the preference bubbles they want you to fill out. The ui is clean though which I'm sure will appeal to a lot of people. Spotify and Google Play should be worried and Tidal will probably be out of business in the next few months.
