The real question is, what did western civilization truly contribute to the world? That wasn't a poor copy of another civilization? Namely African civilization.
Africa was already old and contributed dynasty after dynasty before the first western dynasty, the Greeks, were even heard of. BOTH predecessors of western civilization, Greek and Roman empires, were created from the technology and ingenuity of Africa. Namely Egyptian culture. Even the men of that time said this. Hell, Dr. Yosef Ben Jochannan has confirmed over and over that even the Greek gods were said to be Ethiopian....by the Greeks.
Africa was the birthplace of monotheism, which the foundational philosophy of all western religion.
Africa is the birthplace of every science.
Africa was the first colonizer. This is well documented in "When Egypt ruled the East" by George Steindorff
Africans were the first world travelers and traveled to the Americas centuries before Europe even thought to do so. This is well documented in "They Came Before Columbus" by Dr. Ivan Van Sertima. Not to mention, archaeological finds such as Olmec head statues.
Africa brought Europe out of the Dark Ages when the Moors of North Africa invaded and colonized parts of Western Europe
And the Europe and America we know now is only a byproduct of the enslavement and use of free labor from African people. Europe was a waste basket for most of modern history. Poor, diseased, backward and riddled with tribal warfare. It was the "founding of the new world" that saved Europe and created the wealth you see today. Nothing else!
So, even in our slavery and degradation, we are still responsible for moving the world forward. This is why reparations is a hard sell. Not because we don't deserve it, but because paying reparations to the African in the Americas would literally mean the bankrupting of every western country and of Europe itself.
So again, the real question is, what has western civilization given to the world that was not taken from another civilization?
