I rarely see people with broken Galaxy's. Hardly ever.

You drop that iphone one time and its a wrap :heh:

Galaxy S4 > iPhone 6.

Galaxy S5 > iPhone 7

Galaxy Note Edge > iPhone 8

I swear Apple users are some sheep. iPhone's are garbage. This coming from someone who used them religiously until the iPhone 4. I broke my shyt, and my boy gave me this connect for the Galaxy S2.

At first I was like :camby: " I dont want that shyt"

After I spent sometime with it, it was a wrap. I haven't gone back to Apple since
Had the gs3....own the gs5...own the iPhone 6....my gs5 doesn't perform as well as this iPhone 6

....gs5 has twice the ram...crazy processor...etc....it done run as speedy and snappy as this....android still has some advantages but ios8 on iPhone 6 is great and I'm back on the train somewhat lol.

Not letting my gs5 go though because you shobox is important lol

That's cause the GS5 has Touchwiz on it. every now and then my shyt gets a few seconds of lag on it at the lock screen when I'm changing songs or whatnot it'll freeze up for maybe 5 seconds. I live with it. There's trade-offs on every platform and none of them are perfect. we aren't really talking about grandma's old ass Windows XP Dell 512MBs of RAM joint with a Pentium 4 on it that takes 5 minutes to fully boot vs a Core i7 4790K 8GBs of RAM with Windows 8.1 on it. we're talking about a few seconds.

A worse trade-off for me is when I go to the gym with the Galaxy S5 it can't plug up to the treadmill with the 30 pin iPod dock connector on it. I take my iPhone 5 to the gym with me and use the 30 pin to lightning converter. I miss having one device all the time that did it all. Back when it was just the iPhone 5 that's all I had to carry everywhere. The S5 also doesn't have the Nike+ in it which the iPhone does.

I got my iphone 6 the day it came out and I'm already thinking about taking it back to Verizon.

The battery life on the phone is God awful. Just sending a few text messages can drop the battery percentage...without any apps running in the background, background light dimmed, push notifications off, emailed fetched hourly, and very few apps period.

I haven't had any long conversations on it, but the ONE five minute conversation I had with my dad dropped the battery by 1 percent.

Others online are complaining about ios 8 draining the battery of their iphone 6 and older iphones.

I'm neither an android stan nor an iphone stan. I just need something to check my email on throughout the day.

I do have a nice imac desktop computer and it was probably the main reason I went with the iphone instead of a Samsung.

I might be picking up a Samsung tomorrow. :manny:

The difference between Android and Apple where Android constantly innovates to try to compete with each other (Samsung, Motorola etc), Apple keeps it simple by taking what works and just makes it better. Android makes gimmicky features that looks cool in commercials but end up fading away a year or two later.

While Apple focuses on its on devices when marketing to consumers, Android goes out of its way to make commercials specifically about Apple after they launch a new product. :mjpls:
Thats not true. The moto-x is actually a phone that is made for daily use, and makes you more efficient.

I think what people are forgetting is that Apple is living off of the ideas of Steve jobs. Notice that ever since he died, Apple isn't coming out with any innovative products. It is slowly becoming the same as other companies. Right now its just living off of its rep from the past, but you can clearly see they are running out of creative ideas. Unless they find some new talent, they will be the same as others in five years.

The touch ID was nice though. I don't even use the feature on my S5 cause you have to do that weird swipe.

But that wasn't something "new". It is essentially a finger print id that was on the bioknob in 2006 that was made to use your fingerprints instead keys to enter your home. And some computers had used your fingerprints to log you into your computer. Touch ID wasn't innovative to me, just something you can do to make some say "ooh".

It was new for cell phones. I don't know if it works the same on iPhone but on the S5 you can't really unlock your phone unless you use two hands where one hand holds the phone and the other swipes. with a pin number you can unlock your phone with one hand.

I agree it was new for cell phones but to me I looked at Apple as real innovators, and when they started praising the touch id like it was something special, I knew it was the beginning of the end. Whats crazy is they could have took the idea of the motorola-x and built the phone to do things by just speaking to it. Instead they focused on health, a camera, and apple pay. Things that are not that important or will be used by most, except the camera. Iphone 6 is a let down to me considering what Apple is known for, and what phones can do. Even Chris Pirillo sees its not perfect. I still think its a good phone but not worth the craziness people are going on about. Except the camera, it is real good.

Yeah when Jobs was alive and the actual number of the model went +1 they used to add major features. If you look at it now the iPhone 6 is basically just an iPhone 5s with a bigger screen and the only major thing the iPhone 5s added over the 5 was the touch id. the innovation over at Apple is becoming stagnate. its almost as if not they're content letting Android pave the way and taking the features years later.

Apple does have a loyal fanbase though and their fans don't care. It's kind of one of those I don't know what I'm missing and I don't care deals.

The part about touchwiz is true but I still think even a nexus 5 doesn't perform like this...I've had every nexus except the 5 so I'm well versed in using pure android...the foundation of the operating system isn't built in a way to have the touch response iOS does...it is what it is.

Touch ID is a underrated convenience and I think it was innovative for cellphones..

iOS has some innovative things going on in the is in regards to intuitiveness as well...

I think Touch ID is more useful and innovative than a lot of the features Samsung introduced like scrolling with your eyes and all those other touchwiz gimmicks lol.

I think the Motox and its features are innovative and actually useful...

Of introducing tap to wake/lock is underrated as well.
