I brought it on the board. I finally made a good call on a stock :russ:

Definitely priced out right now. The company isn't generating a profit right now. If it shows growth within the next 1-2 earnings I will consider it a buy, but at the current moment I'm definitely watching it. :takedat:
Most companies that are scaling and expanding aren't generating a profit. They in turn spend the money to grow. Im more concerned in how much of the African market share they can capture in the coming years

I'm very surprised that Skype wasn't able to capitalize on the corporate video meeting market space. They've had the infrastructure in place since the early 2000's, hard to believe they weren't able to tap into that space earlier.

got lost in the shuffle with microsoft. seems like skype got comfortable after the buy out from microsoft and microsoft was lazy and just threw it in their OS. now it looks like microsoft is moving onto microsoft teams for conference/collaboration. seems like the same thing happened to citrix after cisco bought them out.

interestingly enough, the ceo of zoom was the head engineer at citrix and didn't want to sell or merge with cisco or any other company. it's one of the reasons he created zoom and went public with it.

i really like zoom but not sure where their stock will stabilize at. they are high for what their revenue is. i really love their product so curious to see how they grow. i know they plan to add a phone service but not sure how much revenue that'll add.

This is what I thinking about as well. How much more can they really grow. I imagine the other video conferencing sites will start taking note, if they haven't already.

Most of these companies usually go up high in the first week once they IPO (due to all the hype), and then they go back down (eventually creeping up again little by little).

Is this a fair assessment or am I wrong? Not trying to be funny/sarcastic, just genuinely curious if this is what we typically see.
