@Piff Perkins saying its pride month every month across the pond :mjlol:
:russ:

Nah I'm just saying these guys are classically trained theater actors. They were doing Shakespeare one minute, next minute they're in a bad Hollywood movie lol. But they know they're gonna get the job if they audition because they're objectively better than American actors who are not classically trained. I know people get mad about black British actors playing black Americans but white British actors are playing white Americans at a higher clip. The quintessential American superhero, Spiderman, is played by a British dude. They're just better, and often cheaper.

These are the type of people who sit around reading plays, reciting poetry, acting out scenes with friends. It's a different type of lifestyle than an American who acts because he or she is attractive/popular.

A lot of actors, ESPECIALLY British actors, don't watch the films or shows they make. They're far more interested in theater than film.

"Yes, according to various sources, Denzel Washington has a strong preference for theatre acting.
Here's why and some details about his theatre career:

He has emphasized that "The stage is where you learn to act...not in film, not in TV". This highlights his belief that the demands of live performance provide crucial development for actors. He encourages aspiring actors to seek out theatre experience, even in smaller roles, stating, "Even if you're just a guy holding a spear in the back of the game, you gotta get on stage".

If the GOAT said so,all black actors need to be more interested in theater than movies and t.v:respect:

I'd do the same. It would be weird as fukk to see myself on film like that. I'd never be able to actually get into the show. It's too distracting.

Snowfall did a much better job creating an emotional connection with the audience. Due to better story and by FAR,better acting. People compliment The Wire because its more detailed and gives a greater look at what the dope game is really like. Well,i was never a dopeboy so i could care less about a t.v show meeting dopeboy standards of authenticity. I got bored watching the Wire and didnt give a damn what happened to most of them nikkas:respect:

I still remember Body shooting it out in his final moments, like it was supposed to be some Scarface type ending. I was sitting there :unimpressed:. You sir are no Al Pacino, and your story and acting didnt make me care.

First 3 seasons of snowfall > first 3 of the wire

Yup,Snowfall only stumbled when they finally got popular. You could tell they were trying to keep the attention of some of the newly acquired "Power"audience:mjlol:. So you could tell it was definitely made to be more friendly to the casuals. But they eventually reeled it back in and had a great final season imo.
