I was initially disappointed with The W but it’s dope AF. I haven’t listened to Iron Flag for a long time. Might have to give it a spin for a while.

It really did. At that time it kind of seemed like the Wu didn't really have it anymore. It felt like their time had passed, the game was changing, especially after The W (that album was dope but it was a Wu-head album). But Iron Flag has bangers on it. It may not have been the smash commercial hit Forever was but it was great album.

Listening now. How the fukk was I disappointed in this when it dropped!? This is all typical, classic Wu Tang sound. It’s not all OB4CL type sound but it’s not all Waco shut either. Some missteps like Chrome Wheels but so far it’s dope. Obviously it’s just not on that 36 Chambers/Liquid Swords type level but what is?
