it looks bad.

First off, we gotta stop letting Bendis create black characters. I respect him for wanting to do good by his Black children (and by proxy Black folks as a whole), I really do. But he's 0/3 (Miles, Riri, Naomi). He's great at getting the initial hook down, but awful at giving these characters real depth. And a related but separate issue is that subsequent writers of these characters dont have much interest in fleshing them out, either (Miles had the personality of cardboard until SpiderVerse).

Disney sabotaging Black characters what’s new


Riri gets tricked into making an Iron Man tech which causes Armor Wars. Trying to atone she makes her own suit to try stop the villain/Armor Wars with War Machine and Pepper Potts helping her along the way - Disney couldn’t make a story like that?
