I wasn’t expecting that but at the same time, I was because she has shown throughout this that she prone to make bad decision after bad decision. Still has a lot of growing up to do.This bytch done made a deal with the damn devil!!!!!!

I liked the way they handled Riri in this because in Wakanda Forever she felt like a plot device. She was basically Shuri 2.0 and was used to play the wise cracking little sister role so the actual Shuri would look more mature like T'Challa. In this series we see what drives her and we get to see her flaws. She is very flawd but so is Tony, Steve and Thor.
She has alot of trauma, anger and arrogance but that's what makes her interesting to me. She's not a Mary Sue like I was scared she was going to be. Her actually incorporating those runes and spells into her equations at the end has me interested because she is now willing to embrace the unknown and is looking at magic from a scientists perspective. She probably is trying to work out a way to get out of that deal she made

Just watched episode 4. Joe was right about Riri. Where does she get this entitled attitude from.
She was responsible for sending Joe to jail after promising him she wouldn't do anything to lead the cops to him, and she breaks into his lab and uses his shyt while she's locked up?

There is definitely a lot of potential with her character going forward. To see the growth that she’ll have in the MCU is something I’m looking forward to seeing. I’m just not sure she is going to get out of that deal unless she gets help from a Dr.

I actually think Riri’s choice was in alignment with her character. We can’t expect her to change overnight. She’s still in process of trying to put all the pieces together on her own. I don’t think anyone could truly reach her at this moment, with the exception of someone whom she can truly learn from and whom understands a bit of her struggle. Dr. Strange does fit that bill.
