"Ironheart" Six Episode series on Disney+ (June 24,2025)

I'm wondering how this ties in to MCU. Letting Majors go really sent Marvel in too many different directions. When will we next Mephisto? In what movie/show? Hell when will we next see Riri? Is she confirmed in anything this phase or the next?

Last 3 episodes were a step up from the first 3. Personally I wanted to see more bad ass action moments. I'm not familiar with her story in the comics, but usually incredibly smart people have a straightforward logical way of thinking. She was pretty emotional all throughout. I understand having your dead friend as your AI will do that(which I think is wild), but some of the other choices she made didn't make sense for someone with her mental intellect (joining in with thieves, breaking and entering, making a deal with the devil). I also get that she's supposed to be young so there is some impulsiveness there.

I also like that she's not a redeemable character (yet). It would seem kind of forced with only 6 episodes. I guess the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Finally finished this to see the homie finally be revealed and i agree that Wandavision is where he shouldve been introduced but the suits at disney are not comic fans with common sense. It makes sense he targets these type of people he can easily influence with trauma and tragedy. I hope this gets a season 2 just so we can see homie work and move on to other Character especially Doom.

The one thing that annoyed me is why they were doing heists with no masks on. U telling me the zesty one wouldnt get locked up the morning after a heist?

Show was solid , was cool that RiRi was an a$$hole and selfish. Usually Disney makes females into Mary sue’s.

I wonder what the point of this is though in the long run , no way it gets another season.

I just binged whole series in a day and I thought it was a decent 3 star watch due especially to the vibes (loved to music, setting, dialogue, etc. which felt very “familiar as an FBA). With that being said, RiRi is IMO the most unlikable hero since Ryan Reynolds’ green lantern. It was frustrating that ultimately this chick didn’t learn anything through her arc but I’ve gotta give Marvel credit for against the grain decisions being made by RiRi.

Unfortunately this series likely won’t go anywhere but if Marvel really leaned into the Supernatural stories but actually supporting and following g up on Blade, Moon Knight, Wherewolf, and Dr. Strange 2 then Iton Heart would’ve been a good in unexpected entry in fleshing out that side of the MCU. Memphisto was talking real slick about Dormmamu and Chthon can’t be happy about possibly losing Scarlet Witch and the Darkhold being destroyed. Imagine a movie where 3 different Dark Lords are battling it out for Earth with a Midnight Suns consisting of Blade, MK, Ghost Rider, Black Knight and maybe Werewolf by Night trying to stop them while I trying not to kill each other…

Fun show, dragged a little at the end but overall good.

Crazy that here is when we finally get Mephisto, great idea casting Borat.

The only reason why I'm not surprised by her character is because this is very similar to how she was presented in the comics under Bendis. She came across as a villain at times because of how seemingly self-serving her character was. I feel that shyt will only get worse with her since the level of bullshyt they would have to put her character through to give her some level of underdog feel would probably destroy her character outright.

The most logical thing to have done and maybe still do is combine Ironheart and Ironlad stories and make her a Kang variant...

Then nobody can try and play dumb about her prowess with tech or even her leaning toward villainy with her skillset when faced with loss. You take the best parts from the two IM derivatives and suddenly there's a lot more to play with.

I been saying that since before they even announced they were doing a show.

And yea it solves a ton of issues. Instead of a Scooby snack for Doom you actually let the Young Avengers handle Kang and center it around RiRi's connection to him, how she could end up if she doesn't learn her lesson.

In a series that also involves magic and spells. It ain’t that crazy for someone like that to pop up here when you think about it.

This was another issue I've had with the series in general. I think the issue I'm having with the magic is that its addition was odd overall. A better story could be told without it. I kept thinking this throughout much of this.

Just finished. I did like it but yea RiRis decision at the end. I'll be pissed if they end up dropping this storyline and this should've been the 2nd or THIRD appearance of HIM not the first.
