I’m glad I didn’t watch this interview because that was tough to sit through. Irv didn’t say anything wrong but his shouting and defensive body language doesn’t fit at all with the Drink Champs theme.

They also eat off of recouping advances, which are also normally set up for artists to fail. Irv also owns her publishing (even tho… nvmnd), which means he’s eating no matter who owns her masters.
Irv’s answer is bullshyt for the same reason 360’s are bullshyt: it’s about extracting maximum value, regardless of how it impacts the artist.
