12-8 sucks....your lunch break is like a fusion of dinner and lunch time

and if you live like an hour away commute wise its even worse....when you leave to work most business are just opening...and when you head home most business are just closing...so theres alot of productive shyt youre missing out on

it depends on the city u live u and the type of commute taken and social life.

for me, 9am-5pm is ideal since I am only a 15 min train ride from my job. Leave out the house at 8:40, at my job at 8:55

Get off at 5pm, home by 5:20pm

Can still do thotty shyt at night and stay out until 3am as long as I get my 5 hours of sleep im good.

You're winning. I have had a 1hr or worse commute my whole adult working life. Blew through my car warranty too.

Leave 735am home 425 every day

my personal favorite was M-F 4:30 am to 2 pm every other friday off
they let me do that for 3 years
i would kill my work the first 2 hours
then just pace myself
other people would be like

kept me away from office politics
i liked going to the gym and doing errands on way home
and the friday created 3 day weekend opportunities

Most people barely going on lunch break, but I'm already off

I work 8 to 5 smh woat gotta wake up super early cuz traffic... a 20 minute drive takes a whole hour dfw is the worst I would kill for a 6 to 3

I usually work 4 or 5 to 1230. I like it cuz I'm a night person. And also can get stuff done during the day. Make any appointments or hit up the gym when it's not packed in the early afternoon. Or can just sleep all day and just miss the upcoming rush hour traffic. Only downfall is missing stuff on tv like sports and shows but with streaming services and dvr, watching live don't matter to me.

Nah.....I worked that shift before. Your whole day is gone. Basically no social life because you're always tired. I hate working 7.30-4.00 but atleast you leave early. You still have the whole afternoon/night to do stuff.

I either work 7-4 or 1-10pm depending on the day of the week, but there are times where I work 7-10 for 4 days straight and take a 3 day weekend
