For someone who started listening to rap in 2000, I remember EVERY rapper wanted to be like Tupac or just idolized him

Seems like the younger generation has moved from that, more so looking to Gucci Wayne etc.

Yea it's an age thing but Pac was something unique and no one has come close to his impact both musically and as a person.

Seems like he's not mentioned much anymore

Thats all it is, is an age thing. Its like saying the younger generation has moved on from Magic Johnson or Prince :mjlol: of course they wont have the same reverence for guys that were before their time, they didnt witness it in the flesh. You started listening to rap 4 years after he died, that was a different era.
