IS $20+/HR decent for a 22 yo college student

Atleast 50 percent of the adult US population don't even make $20 an hour, so why wouldn't it be more than sufficient for a 22 year old college student

On some real shyt, I've been on mad forums and everyone on there says they're ballin. I am so confused, everyone who post on forums got successful careers making 100k?
I don't like to think people lie, but I can't understand on all the forums I've been on everyone is successful as shyt.

Most people are bullshytting because they know they ain't shyt. Some people are bullshytting for the culture, the rest are near, at, or past $100k. I bullshyt for the culture in TLR but I keep it real in 6F6C. To keep it real here: I'm not at 6 figures but I'm not particularly far off. If things go well I can hit it in about 3 years.
Taking salary straight up, people thinking $40k is balling probably live in low cost of living states. It's a lot for a young college student, yes, but beyond that you're struggling or very close to it if you live in California or similar. Housing, utilities, food, insurance student loans, that'll kill your take-home real quick.
I'm saying. considering majority of people all over the world are living pay check to pay check and for black people, the case is even worse, I had wager that there is so much
going on. That's not to say everyone's lying ofcourse because there are successful black people in all works of life but most of them probably don't even have time to be posting on a forum

In this economy, if you're black, any job with a decent wage is fine. Black people don't have the luxury to turn their nose up to a job, whether it's 15/hr or 20/hr.
