Turning 28 this year......20s was trash for the most part

I don’t think 28 is old, and I’m not saying I’m “giving up,” but a lot of the energy I had towards enjoying life seems to sap away the older I get.

Other than kids, what else is there to really look forward to? Who knows. But at 28, I’m in the space where I don’t want or need to be around others as much.

To be fair it is likely because I wasted my 20s I feel this way, 20-27 was “okay” with a few Ws under a mountain of Ls, so I’m not even looking forward to 28 being as more of the same.

Not to sound like a know it all but real shyt, I’ve hit that point where I’ve seen it all, done most of it, so shyt isn’t as exciting, but life becomes predictable so you can avoid the pitfalls

shyt, might not even celebrate 28 the way I need to stack this paper up. Everyone has their path.

My siblings are all younger than me but are flourishing their 20s High paying jobs, Significant others, educated, business minded All jokes aside, it still makes me proud to know that they are set and living good as they should be.

You don’t want to be the older nikka who feels expendable because life ain’t work out the way you wanted. Your early 20s you have so much time to set yourself up, take advantage.
