I came to post this. You can walk into Publix on a regular day and get wings for a better price that tastes better than wingstop.

Breaded, Hot, BBQ whatever
Now check this..I got 3 Publix spots that are 5 mins...and 7 mins the other way from my front door. I got 2 Krogers 5-8 mins away. Publix be dead at around 8pm too. Lovely. Now if you get this..you do need to place that order 24 hrs ahead...thats it.

was talking with my moms about how the price of meat is ridiculous these days. i live in cow country and ground beef is still 6 dollars a pound (9 for the "good" stuff). she said when i was little we lived off chicken wings pretty regularly because they were cheap as hell back then.. before the whole 'buffalo wing' craze.

apparently chicken wings used to be looked down on as low quality bar food. the chicken 'leftovers' if you will :francis:

i guess its like when cacs found out chicken thighs are delicious during covid and the price shot up :damn:

Wings are so overrated, giving me the smallest park of the bird that I can't eat without making a huge mess. Might as well eat chicken nuggets or good tenders with some type of delicious sauce on the side.

In my opinion, that's a ripoff.

I hate when these places charge a $1 a wing, that's how they get you.

You can buy two or three packs of fresh wings for around the same price or bags of frozen wings, you'd get more per bag for less, considering you have all the necessary ingredients (flour, seasoning, oil, sauces, etc) at home.

For example, a grocery store near me sells bags of frozen wings for $6.99 or sometimes $7.99, each bag contains at least around 20 or so wings, now imagine you buy 2-3 bags for either price above, you'd be coming away with more for less money.
