The age group with the highest rate of divorces these days in the UK is actually people 60-65 which I was very surprised about , baby boomers just don't want to get old, I would have said years ago 35 is middle aged, now you still have many dudes and dudess's still living with parents, going clubbing etc etc, and in my view ,men start to have advantages in dating and relationships once you reach your thirties , ,like I think when you are in your late teens into your twenties girls seem to have their pick,I think there are different standards for men and women in terms of looks and aging. Men if they take care of themselves seem to hold it off better,. I see women in their early twenties these days who already look in their thirties. Due to their lifestyle.

Its funny, when we have these how old is old threads, everyone claims to feel and look younger than they really are. People are really in denial about their age, men and women equally.

So 30 year olds should act like life is over? 30 is not old. 35 is not old. 40 is not old.

people in their late 20s who fear 30+ are usually the ones who haven't accomplished much and see the clock ticking

No but they shouldn't act like they are 21 "because they think and feel like they still have it", never said 30 was old but 30 is not 21 its 30, it's ok to get older. People seem so afraid to admit that they are older, always throw in a caveat.

Maybe it's different for men but for women you shouldn't wear the tight clothing or short skirts that you could in your 20s. You need to dress more classically instead of too trendy or you'll look pathetic or silly. You just can't look like a 16 year old anymore. Similarly I don't think grown men look good in teenage styles (baggy clothing, too much jewelry, fad designers).


Cursing just IMO looks bad coming from older people. I cringe when I hear older people cursing, especially if they're over 45. I don't mean the random curse word here and there or even among friends or in Internet forums or for comedic purposes, but if it's every other word and in public and loud it looks immature.

I'm willing to fight you over this.
