Is 3d already being phased out

I don't own a 3d tv and just recently purchased one without 3d...I'm curious because I think 3d is the next big thing but it seems like it's being phased out and replaced with more picture quality....I'm sure it will still be on some sets but I'm not a believer in 3d until the day I don't need glasses or the glasses don't give me headaches.

People are losing. I wouldn't get a tv without it considering that new avatar movies are coming out. They will be huge and imagine

A lot of the new movies will be in 3d. And A lot of people won't have 3d tvs... that will drive the boxoffice up.

The problem is the glasses. If they find a way to do 3d without glasses then it will be a lot more succesful.

the 3D feature took PIP's (Picture-in-Picture) spot on the TV. You can't find a tv with PIP anymore. The 3D feature is a nice to have but you probably will rarely use it especially since cable TV has abandoned it but its really on for blu-ray anyway. the glasses are not bad in small doses. I only use 3D when the big blu-ray movies are released like Avengers, Man of Steel, etc but only once, i just watch the regular non-3D blu-ray versions after that...

I think its only the beginning for 3D home wise.. I've had a 3D TV for 2 years now and I'm just now getting into buying 3D blurays as blurays are cheaper than they were years ago

I have zero interest in 3D. I don't need things appearing to be jumping out at me as I can tell due to depth of field which things on screen are supposed to be closer to me and which are further away. The 3D thing is a joke to me. And I'd much rather have higher resolution/sharper images than 3D.

Every 20years or so they try to revisit the 3D movement, and so far it hasn't really caught on, despite their best efforts. I think the market for 3D will always remain miniscule

biggest movie of all time is in 3d. Mostly cause nobody had a 3dtv at the time. There was no wait for it to come out type of deal.

I could never figure out how to use that when i was a kid and we had those old school 90's 32 -36 inch tv's that weighed 1 million pounds but you thought your family was ballin for having one of those
