shyt was stressful when u have people called off.. there was times I would work 4am to 4pm , then had to be back at 3am sometimes. This was at long beach port..
The cargo and freight u unloading will wear u out, plus all type of shyt u would see. From dead animals to even drugs trying to get shipped in...

I got of light too, I had classmates that did 20 hour shifts on the reg. banking internships are probably the most competitive field in the world, kids have died from exhaustion.

If you're one of those people who needs plenty of leisure time, sightseeing, watching the news, coli browsing, well, then don't do it. It's definitely doable though. People acting like it's inhumane or some shyt. It's not, it can be a good fukking deal, provided you are getting payed overtime. One of my grandmas had a 60 hour workweek for like 15 years, all the while raising 3 kids as a divorced single mother. But in her case she did what she had to do, while you have options... you don't need to work that much if it's not conducive to your comfort.
