I was going to tip with my credit card but I wasn't too sure how that goes 
It's not disrespectful. IMO there's a floor and ceiling to tips.
Like, always tip at least x for a really cheap meal, but never tip more than y, in between those 2 use percentages.
It's still just serving 2 people at the end of the day no matter how expensive the food is, a $20 tip is huge for that.
