Is a black infrastructure realistic? Better yet, do we even WANT a black infrastructure?

There are black americans, yes even successful educated black americans, who don't seem to actually care that we have no infrastructure, even seem completely satisfied, and this is usually somewhat revealed when talking about race and/or economics.

Generally, our top scientists go work for white labs. Our top doctors go work at white hospitals. Mostly all our top everything work for white institutions. Not only helping them get rich but, being discriminated against in the process. And this is something to be happy about?

Instead of seeing this as something to try to fix (i.e. our own infrastructure), a lot of us see it as normal and brag about working in their institutions

At what point do more of us start to consider trying to create our own, i don't even see it talked about like that except for guys like Boyce Watkins, Claude Anderson, etc of course. And before someone asks, "what are you doing nikka", i've said what i'm doing to help before in The Root, and what i do consumes most of my time, which is why i have a pretty low post count if u notice.

If you disagree, calmly debunk instead of getting emotional

Our scientists fled away because the black community are anti progress and archaic, black nerds don't want to live in that kind of environnement, so of course they're going to work for the white men because white society give them the kind of environnement that the black community can't provide, which mean security and peace of mind. Same thing happen in other black country like Nigeria where the most intelligent are fleeing the countries to come here or go to live in Uk because Nigerian governement are doing everything to keep the country in chaos. Here's your answer breh.

Are you basicly saying a new Black Wall Street?

If so, that would take multiple generations. Mainly because it would first require a massive shift in our own mindset and how we feel about ourselves and each other.

Black people ruled this planet for thousands
of years before white people were even in caves.
this sounds like (why we wanna run? plantation been good to us)
slave talk.
a time is gonna come where black people will
stand again and c00ns and ignorant ass nikkas
will have to be destroyed in order to preserve our race.
Glorious day indeed.

racial pride isnt high enough nor is our love for one another. Unity and also the willingness to SACRIFICE for the betterment of the black community as a whole is going to be needed. Ask yourself: why havent black people BEEN putting their $$$ into black owned banks??? why is this just now starting to happen?? This is something that should have been happening decades ago. The answer is that we've been "sleep". We've forgotten who our real oppressors are. We see other black people as more of a threat than the white man. Integration has lulled us into being comfortable being 2nd class citizens in the white mans' house. This has to change. We need our own house. With these police shootings and unarmed black men murders recently, its "awakening" us. We're also learning more and more about past history and how truly deep systemic oppression is and continues to be today. I sense a shift happening now amongst blacks but we still got a long way to go. None of us will be alive to witness a modern-day "black wallstreet", maybe not even our grandkids. Its gonna be a long, slow, steady process.
