I think the closest we've ever had to this was Atlanta, but since most of us ain't living the life of rapper/manager, a lot of scenarios weren't things that the average black man and woman would encounter in our lives.

So that makes me wonder... Could a show that just explores the various things that we encounter in our lives succeed?

It can be done. Just 4 core friends that kick it and get into strange/wild situations. Base it in Buckhead or Brooklyn. I like Brooklyn better because NYC and you have all the ethnicities to use as material.

It’s a cheap show. Have a few reoccurring side characters as well.

I like the idea. Instead of basing the main character as a comedian, have him as a E-list actor kinda like Johnnie Drama.
:heh:
Just don’t pitch it to Terry Perry.
:whoa:
He’s not from Harlem. You can only imagine the shyt he would come up with.
