Why do you want to get into IT and what field are you coming from? With little or knowledge of IT, A+ would be a good start.looking to get into IT field. I have little knowledge in IT. Should I start with A+ first
It really depends on your learning style. I personally learn better reading though material, performing the task, and then watching a video or two to explain a concept that I may have difficulty grasping. Some people rather watch a video and then read material to fill in gaps. Either way I would recommend having two sources of material to reference. Thanks breh. Aldiko is great for epub filesgo to google and type in Libgen
once at the site, type in Comptia or A+ , then sort by the year
download whatever pdfs you want. The EPUB files need something like Calibre (i highly recommend) to read . Edge sucks
This is all I do . I download books, study them, then do practice tests . I keep track of my scores and shyt in Excel .
Im doing this with Network + and CCENT as we speak . . with LibGen , there's no excuses. They got books on almost anything
Not completely useless, it's like the AA degree of certifications. It shows you at least know what a computer is and what it does, but it doesn't narrow your specialization. If you don't have any other IT experience, I'd say get the A+ to get your foot in the door. Help desk roles are cool because you get a variety of IT issues and you'll learn more about what you want to specialize in once you get some hands on experience. I hate hardware issues because I'm not a customer friendly person at all lol, so I preferred more networking stuff and eventually moved into data and reporting.
