In highschool I was in the computer networking academy loved it but didn't pursue it in college (bad mistake on my part). Now im 35 not satisfied with my career and very interested in a Cybersecurity/Computer Information Security certificate. I already have a Masters in Leadership. My question to the Coli is a Cybersecurity Certificate worth it or is there something better?

In my research I came across CompTIA/ security + would you recommend that to add to resume?

To be honest NO I think it's pretty worthless

If you already in a good job and seek advancement to another field and the company will pay for it go for it but it's not worth studying for, not gonna get you in the door.

CEH or CISSP

Cybersecurity isn't really newbie friendly like that.

Cybersecurity isn’t an entry level IT field. But if I were you with a masters in leadership I would go the grc route. It’s less technical and more focused on risk and policies.

Yes. People who want to get into Cybersecurity need to get the Comptia Sec+ at a minimum. You're not gonna become a Pentester/Ethical Hacker obviously, but you usually start off as a level 1 Soc Analyst and work your way from there. Also doing lab work practice helps and looks good on the resume.
