If you can find a good used one then yes. It all depends on what you are going to use it for. Games = no go. but surfing and schoolwork it would be perfect for. Not really having to worry about viruses and having everything work when you want it too is like having peace of mind. :noah:

Once u go Mac...u never go back

They're absolutely worth it. I have a 2011 MacBook Pro and its still running like its brand new. Haven't encountered any problems on it yet.

Plus Macs don't get a lot of viruses

You should search the Arcadium

It depends on what your funds are like. If you're just doing word processing and web surfing imo no it's not worth it

The base model Macbook pro 13 in.....everything else is extra, the base model is already super quick and its light weight, I've been told to stay away from the Air models

Unless you plan on doing some sort of mulitimedia applications then no not really. Todays laptops are a lot better than they were in the past.

I would agree, the base macbook pro version released in summer of 2012. I have one that I purchased in november, still runs like the day I purchased it. Very fast and reliable. A lot of people talk about the Retina display ones, but I couldnt see myself spending 400 extra for something barely noticable.

This one.
