Great movie, and I don't mean that ironically or anything. To me horror is all about positioning yourself in the character's shoes and wish you'd never come close to experience what they do. This movie takes that to extremes, but above that it also boasts pretty good production values (great cinematography and music) and despite it's gutter dark content it also has a crazy sense of dark humor to it.

Bar none.

I'd always read about how depraved it was and how empty one felt after seeing it, but Jesus. Any innocence you have going into that film is gone once the credits roll. The depravity, the brutality, and the the fact that those who orchestrated the entire ordeal just get away with it and roll over the next day like it never happened. Those last ten seconds had me like I was waiting for someone to stop the madness, but they never came.
