and the next year they are gone for a HC job

its like searching for a qb, finally finding one and the next year someone else takes him and you have to start all over

Fair point. I'd also hope that guys can be developed. We talked about Engstrand earlier. He was a passing game coordinator last year with my squad, the Lions. Frankly he should still be in that position because he wasn't ready to be an OC. Ideally a head coach has guys like that in the coaching staff who can eventually become your OC if he doesn't bolt for a promotion elsewhere.

Glenn also tried to take Kelvin Shepherd, the Lions LB coach, to NY to become DC. He declined and ultimately Campbell made him the Lions DC. But he had been groomed to become DC for years so he stayed loyal and got rewarded.

black folks always get the woat jobs

get a job with garbage qb, or the young rookie qb

you get the kyler murray as a rookie, drake maye as a rookie, or you get a heap of trash like justin fields as your qb

then you get canned and the cac gets the 2nd or 3rd year qb whose figured it out

Fields isn't even playing bad, :comeon: the problem is that the Jets defense is garbage

Why? The Jets lack talent. Coaching ain’t saving a team having XFLers at WR
What do you mean why? They're about to 0-8, have a bottom 10 defense and one of the worst point differentials in the league. He's considered a defensive guru and player's coach yet they can't stop a fly and his team don't play hard.

If they were competitive but losing tightly-contested affairs then his leash would be longer.

Why are you looking at the coach instead of the GM? This is clearly a roster problem more than a coaching problem.

You seem to be stuck on stats. Are you going to pretend that you watch Jets games and know the intricacies of this team as me?

I want to entertain your bs.

I’m talking about the Jets lack of player talent. You are posting stats

Why are you acting like both things can't be true?

Brian Flores' first two seasons at Miami is the perfect example of a coach maximizing the little talent he was handed.

Why is it that we have to remind you stat whores about a lack of player talent? Why is it always have to be a reminder? Will you guys go “oh yeah… That to.” After it’s pointed out?

Why is it that you guys never bring it up on your own?

You know why? Because stat whores don’t do or know player evaluations
