Is actually wanting a "Clingy" Girlfriend normal?

Any man who been in a few relationship can attest how old clingy girls get. I don't care if the girl looks like thick chocolate super model, you will be repulsed at her behaviour and just straight up avoid her. The annoyance, the lack of breathing room and most of all the dependence. You get sick of it and then it manifests to you getting sick of her.

You don't want to even hit it because you fear that she will get more attached. Ever get your car keyed by a girl you told you weren't feeling anymore and she spazzed out? That is the clingy girl after you try to break it off.

I don't think aloofness or being clingy necessarily says a person has issues. I'm not clingy, I'm aloof, but I show love in a different way. People show love in different ways. Be it constantly wanting to be around a person because you enjoy their company or doing the opposite but showing you care by doing things you know they would feel good about. Just like being affectionate, not everybody is affectionate.

I was seein a chick who wasnt even my GF and she was getting on my nerves acting clingy. Her words: "When i see you, i want to jump on you like a puppy."

This is a 30 year old woman telling me this. i was mad creeped out. I like my space.

That was sweet but if that's not your woman I can see how that can be annoying .

Nah man...clingy is frustrating. I've had that type of life and it's not for me. Had a girl who went crazy if she didn't hear from me all the time. Even when she did she would overanalyze everything i said or did as something being wrong. She even tried to downplay it or hide it after i had to talk to her about it and had one or two fights. But it was obvious talking about it made things worse.
These type of women tend to end up resenting you for what they make themselves feel/think.
